Commissions
A commission is an original painting created for you in Auguste's hand-applied process - water, acrylic, ink and charcoal worked on the ground in several layers.
Commissions are semi-custom: each piece is created in Auguste's own artistic style and language, shaped around your space, scale, and palette rather than reproduced to an exact brief. This collaborative approach is what gives every work its life and spontaneity — and it also means that not every request can be fulfilled.
If a piece you loved has sold, or you want a particular scale, palette or mood for your space, we can create something new together.

Price Guide
Prices are estimates based on size. Final quotes depend on complexity, materials, and shipping. A ¥100,000 minimum applies to all commissions.

How It Works
1 · Inquiry & Conversation
We begin with a conversation about your space, the feeling you want to live with, and any colours or scale you have in mind.
2 · Quote & Deposit
The artist confirms a price and timeline. A 50% deposit (non-refundable) secures your place in Auguste's studio schedule.
3 · Creation
Auguste paints your piece and shares progress images along the way. Up to two rounds of feedback are included.
4 · Completion & Delivery
Once you approve the final photo, the balance is due, and the painting is carefully prepared and shipped to you.
Timeline is typically 8 -10 weeks, depending on size and current studio schedule. As each piece is custom, commissions cannot be returned.
