A Celebration of Creative Freedom Across Generations
This summer, step into the heart of Ginza and immerse yourself in a vibrant celebration of art, imagination, and community. From Monday, July 28 to Saturday, August 2, 2025, Gallery GK will proudly host the Art Festival Exhibition, a unique group show that transcends age and artistic boundaries.
We are also happy to share that Auguste Lu will be participating in this event with her small-sized diptych, an emotional piece first exhibited in Nagoya.
With 40 participating artists, ranging from a talented 7-year-old to an experienced 88-year-old, this exhibition is a beautiful testament to the freedom of expression that art allows. Visitors will be invited to experience a rich tapestry of styles, stories, and perspectives — all united under the theme of joyful artistic liberation.

About Gallery GK
Gallery GK is a long-standing creative hub in Ginza with a rich 40-year history. Known for supporting emerging artists, the gallery has served as a launching point for many careers in the arts. Despite its compact size, it offers a 21-meter display space that’s brimming with potential.
Now located on the 4th floor of the Daiichi Iwatsuki Building, Gallery GK continues to host a wide range of collaborative exhibitions, including those bridging the artistic cultures of Eastern and Western Japan. Notably, the gallery works with partner spaces such as Gallery Little House in Kyoto, fostering nationwide artistic exchange.
As gallery owner Hoshino-san puts it:
“Thanks to our location and loyal supporters, we’re able to introduce the works of incredible artists.”
Whether you’re a seasoned collector, an art lover, or simply someone looking for inspiration, the Art Festival Exhibition at Gallery GK promises a heartwarming and unforgettable experience. Come witness the power of art uniting generations — and let yourself be moved by the joyful spirit of midsummer creativity in Ginza.
