Eyes on the Stars
Eyes on the Stars opens the collection because dreaming has to come first. Before grounding means anything, before becoming has anywhere to arrive, there has to be something worth reaching for.
The chapter Aspiration gives permission to imagine what could be possible, before you've justified the dream or know exactly how to reach it.
Whether grouped with other pieces from the series, placed on a shelf, or shown alone, its intimate scale allows it to sit naturally within a space.
The natural grain of the bamboo and the unrepeatable marks of water and pigment carry a quiet wabi-sabi quality wherever it's placed.

For deliveries within Japan, artworks are shipped via Sagawa Express or Yamato Transport.
For international orders, we ship via DHL or Japan Post.
Delivery typically takes 4–14 business days from the date of dispatch.
Shipping for Shikishi artworks is calculated at checkout.
Each Shikishi is shipped framed in its bamboo frame and carefully packaged using protective materials appropriate for the work.
Customs and import duties may apply in accordance with local regulations and remain the responsibility of the collector.

About Auguste
Auguste Lu (@augusteluart) is a Lithuanian contemporary artist based in Japan, known for her fluid, emotionally layered paintings that explore the dualities of human existence. With a background in classical music and visual effects, her work blends technical precision with expressive spontaneity, translating life’s contrasts into elegant, thought-provoking forms.
Influenced by her Baltic heritage and Scandinavian sensibility, Auguste works with unconventional materials such as acrylic ink, coal, and chalk. Her minimalist palettes paired with intricate shapes are a direct representation of the inner contrasts she encourages the viewer to embrace.
